Notable works
As a Paramedic, we do not necessarily have projects to show off. Most of our work is protected by HIPPA and our patients are our work. However, there are a few projects and essays/writing pieces that I am proud of. These were completed while working on my degree at HACC. Also, there are a few projects I completed during volunteering while on my deployment to Africa that will be mentioned, along with a few pictures

Operation Freedom Chapel
During my deployment in 2024 to Djibouti, Africa, I volunteered for an organization known as Friends of Africa. There were many projects to include volunteering with the local orphanages, picking up trash around base, and Operation Freedom Chapel. I became the project lead for this group where I organized, led and completed projects for our chapel on base with a group of other military service members. Two notable major projects was to paint the inside of the chapel and we deep cleaned the floors monthly. The pictures to the left show the outside of the chapel and inside, with the new paint and clean floor.
Fundraising
I belonged to an organization called We defy. This organization sponsors events and raises money for disable veterans to get involved in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The money they raise goes towards 2 gi's and a year's worth of membership fees of a gym of the veterans choosing. Again, during deployment, we have a BJJ club. On Memorial Day, I hosted a fundraising event where I raised close to $500 and approximately 50 people attended. To include, I orchestrated the French military service members BJJ club, who also had a base in Africa, to attend. As a group, on other occasions, visited the French bases to train with them. This international BJJ training allowed myself and fellow training partners to learn cultural differences in life and in BJJ. To the right, is a picture of me training with a French service member. The banner on the top of this page is a picture of the fundraising event, with American and French service members.

Religion Essay
I enrolled in Comparative Religion my first semester at HACC for a required elective. I enjoy learning about religion and this class allowed me to learn about how other people worship. Our final project was an essay on a religious topic. Throughout all of my schooling, I have felt this is one of my best writing pieces. You will find a link to the left to view the essay.
Project Management
In the 2024 Spring semester at HACC, I was enrolled in Project Management for a required class for my degree. The main objective of the course was to develop a project from ground up. Along with a classmate and partner, we created a mock business with a plan. The business was a wellness center for veterans. I am very proud of this project and to the right you will find a link to view this project.
